We have a variety of cultures as well as ages here on dGeek.


What is vulgar to one person won't be that way to another. I know for a fact that here in the US, we can watch violence galore in movies, but nudity is restricted. But (according to my old German teacher) over in Germany, that is flipped. So if you got a person from each country talking to each other, it'd be a bit of a head twirl to figure out what is vulgar to each other.


What is an adult in one country isn't in another. If we get a group of 16/17 year olds hanging out together here on dGeek, some will talk to them like their minors while others will expect them to suck it up like an adult.

Teenagers who are considered minors will act like minors because they don't have to do anything different and were raised in that way. So I don't think people who were raised differently should take it out on them by being snippy and expecting them to act like adults.
