Great idea! Would give everyone a feeling of erm .. Belonging? no .. A sense of ... Responsibility! Yes, that's the word! People would be accountable for what goes on in threads that they start.

However, I see a small problem. As far as I know, it's not possible to allow a single person to edit content that is only in a single thread, so being the "moderator" of that thread would be kind of pointless. I mean, people who start threads (and others as well) already say "hey wait a minute guys, you're going off topic" or something to that affect. And there's not really much else they can do about it. If they can't edit/delete posts by other people in that thread, I don't really see the point ...

Either way, I'll mention it in the re-ordering of the other thread I started.
