So basically if someone starts a thread, they get to be it's moderator...unless they aren't following the established rules? (and then an official mod would step in?)

That's an interesting idea and I have to say GMTA(great minds think alike) as I had thought of that when David mentioned giving everyone their own forum.

I think David was trying to make everyone happy by letting people each have their own space and run it as they saw fit. They could each have their own rules and that way everyone would have a place they felt comfortable.

So...thinking about what you said....and thinking about David trying to give everyone their own space, if it was done on a thread basis instead of a forum basis, do you think they should be able to have more/less rules on their thread (as long as they are explained in the first post) or should they have to abide by a set of rules that the whole forum agrees on?

Um, or a mixture. Maybe we could have some general rules everyone agrees should be on all forums and specific ones could be on individual threads.

Or would that confuse people?
