, Thank you for letting us have a voice in what you do with your website. I really appreciate the attitude you have toward us fans.
I'm not sure I care whether the mods are anonymous or known, but I do think it is a very good idea for there to be a separation between the posts given as a forum user and posts given as a moderator, ie like mod12 when moderating and twinkletoes when not. IMO, it helps set a boundary of responsibility, authority and professionalism.
I have read some back and forth about the number of moderators and how some can be more lax and another very rigid. I think if there are a set of specific guidelines instead of very general guidelines all the moderators could operate at the same level of authority.
I also like different moderators for differing time zones because this is a very global site. And I mean global in terms of the world, not computers. And the moderators for a time zone should understand the differences in expressions, say for the way a European poster would say something as opposed to the way I, being from the Southern USA, might say it.
