What I meant was, looking at the "who is online list" at a certain time and someone who used to be on is gone but the mod's there... Gives you a "who is mod" guess. Given that anyone would be that curious.


Ah right, I haven't talked about ads yet. As long as they're "useful" I won't mind them at all. Flash is problematic for those with slow connections, though as dgeek is (up til now) mostly a forum and not a site you have to refresh very often I doubt it would be that a huge problem. Popups: No thank you. And sound-emitting ads neither. Put them on the top and the bottom of the page and I'm fine with it. Just keep it as structured and tidy as possible.
