David said he'd like us to think of rules we'd like on dGeek. We may have things on here that some agree with and some don't so we'll have to figure that out later. Maybe a vote of some kind?
Please keep suggestions polite, with no accusations and no name calling. Just list a rule(s) that you think would make dGeek a better place, trying to keep it general so individuals don't feel attacked by it. (we don't want to start a flame war over rules) In fact I'm going to suggest those as general dGeek rules I think we should follow.
Please post any rules that you think would make dGeek a better place...these are only suggestions at this point:
1. Please be polite and respectful in posts. Everyone has a right to their opinions. Opinions are not truths/facts
...they are just opinions and shouldn't be put down when you disagree. There are no right/wrong opinions.
2. In a discussion, of course you can give reasons why you don't agree with someone's opinion(we are all individuals), just be polite and eventually agree to disagree if things can't be resolved, instead of letting things heat up into a flame war.
3. Please no name calling during discussions. We can all post without resorting to that.
4. Try to keep accusations out of dGeek. If you don't like something you can post about it. But just try to keep an accusatory tone out of the post. There are ways to say things without making people feel they are being accused of something.
5. ?
What do y'all think?
