I'll wait patiently for your Atlantis wrap up. Of course, I haven't given up hope that TPTB will come to their senses & do another season. In the meantime, tonight is 'First Contact'. I'm going to have a stopwatch at the ready to finally answer which one of you two talks the fastest! Either way, I know you are the one I can understand. It took me two seasons of SG1 before I could decipher most of what Michael was saying! I've never had that problem with you.
And not to be pushy, but don't forget the candid wedding photos…when you have time.
And thanks for spreading the word about the donation, just voted & DWB is in the lead.

Hey there David. Long time no see or hear. Looking forward to an Update when you have time. I've been busy Studying and Practicing for my Karate Test that I have not been online much. It's getting harder. The Elements that we have to do are not being told to us in English anymore but in Japanese. Just glad that it's over and my next Grading is either 3 or 6 months away. The next Grading is harder so I may wait and do it in 6 months.

Also, know you are still busy despite the cancellation (which is a good thing), but I wanted to throw a couple of suggestions at you on the off-chance they might prove feasible.

1) Do you have a "birthday" for Mars? Because I think it would be sweet to raise money for the ASPCA in his name, and it wouod be nice to have a rallying point, like we use your own b-day for when raising money for DWB.

2) Cliff Simon is big into animal reacue, especially pit bulls, and I thought, if Kavan's dog was a shelter dog, and/or Torries, and any other members of the crew have rescue animals, it would be cool if you guys could do something together to promote animal adoption and maybe raise funds for the ASPCA. Cafepress has a calender service that wouldn't cost you anything (although they do take a hefty chunk of the profits, I will admit), if you all could put together photos of you and your animals. Nothing fancu, candid shots would do (and be preferable, I think)so long as the photos were high-rez. I know you're really busy, though, so no worries if that's just not feasible -- I know it would take some doing to coordinate. Just a thought. I haven't bought a calender for 2009 yet.

Hey, David, you might want to pick up a copy of Guy Delisele's Burma Chronicles. It's a graphic novel that just came out detailing the experience of a cartoonist and his wife who works for MSF (DWB France) in Burma/Myanmar for a year. I think you'd really enjoy it.

Just gave my vote, and sent the link to family and friends everywhere. DWB is at 39% and in the lead, but it would be so much better to get above 50% for the charity. Thank you for bringing me to DWB through ADB and your blog. It is a most worthwhile charity, that truly needs all the help it can get.

I didn't know that David had such passion for DWB. My husband and I donate monthly to them. We started with $50 per month, increasing our monthly donation by $50 every year. We are up to $250 per month, going up to $300 in January next year. We have such an amazing life, and through DWB we get to help people who aren't as fortunate as us.

I was glad to read that my big beautiful barren country (Australia) treated David well when he was there. Melbourne is a bit bloody cold but!
